Harold MARTIN 1917–1984

Harold was in Q1 of 1918 registered at Belper. He was the son of Herbert W. MARTIN and Alice CLARKE; who had nine children between 1915 and 1924.

In 1939 the family were living on New Road Crich but Harold was not with them.

Trooper Harold MARTIN (23) eldest son of Mr and Mrs MARTIN, Crich, and husband of Mrs Kathleen MARTIN, of Clay Cross, was employed at Oakerthorpe Colliery. He has been serving overseas since January 1940.
