In the name of God Amen the 8 day of Desember Anno Doni 1718 I Samuell/ WHEATCROFT being sick in body but of good and pearfe(parfait=perfect) memory thanks be/ To Almighty God and calling to remembrance the uncarrton(uncertain) Estate of this/ Transitory life and that all flesh must yeald unto death whean it pleasse/ God to call I do make and declare this my last will and teastement in/ Manner and form following first being penitent and sorry for all my sins moust/ Humbley desiring forguines(forgiveness) for the same I commend my soul unto Almighty/ God my saviour and redeemer in whom and by whose merites I trust and be/lieve assuredly to be saved and have full remission and forgiveness of all/ My sines and to inherit the kingdom of heaven and my body I commit to the/ Earth to be decently buried at the discretion of my Executor hearafter/ Named Inprimes(imprimis=in the first place) I doe give and bequeath unto my loving Wife Marey/ WHEATCROFT all my land in Wessington in the parish of Chrich and/ County of Darbe for hear(her) life and at the death of Marey WHEATCROFT/ I doe give all my land unto my son John WHEATCROFT and to his/ Earoas(heirs) for ever Inprimes I doe give unto my Soun John WHEATCROFT/ All my goodes and poshesson(possessions) paying all my deateass(debts) and leceses(legacies)/ And I doe appoint and make my soun John WHEATCROFT full and sole/ Executor of this my last will and testament hearby revoking/ Disannulling and making void all former willes in witness hear unto/ I have seat(set) my hand and seall the day and year abuefe(above) reateN(written)/
